WORLDWIDE

Adventure International

Adventure International specialise in a type of travel rather than a destination. They offer Private Luxury Expeditions in key adventure areas worldwide.

This means active adventures such as hiking, trekking, mountaineering and cycling mixed with luxurious and/or unique accommodations and top-class guiding and travel experiences in stunning locations worldwide.

For your VIP clients requiring a top level of service and support, the owners of Adventure International are also available to act as VIP private guides on any of these Luxury Expeditions.

If you have active, adventurous clients looking for a way to escape it all and experience something challenging, fun and transformative, which also helps the people and communities where they travel, here are some suggestions.

Adventure and activity are terms that mean different things to different people, so we have grouped together some examples of what hiking, trekking, and mountaineering trips Adventure International can offer on four different levels:

Soft Adventure, Family Friendly

Peru Eco Camps, Macchu Pichu and Cusco - Glamping in 2 camps, Local cultural experiences, community tourism and Soft Adventure with Sacred Valley, Cusco and 1 Day hike to Machu Picchu. Find example itineraries HERE with a few different options.

  • 4 Days of Glamping and Soft Adventure in USA national parks such as Grand Canyon, Zion, Escalante, Yellowstone, Moab or Lake Powell. We can of course tailor make trips, add sites together and incorporate luxury properties to make longer itineraries such as these example itineraries with Zion and Escalante.

  • Land-Based Galapagos with Luxury Villa and Private Yacht - a wonderful way to explore the Galapagos by private yacht whilst staying in a beautiful Villa. Visit North Seymour & Bachas Islands, Bartolomé & Chinese Hat, South Plaza & Santa Fe Islands, Bartolomé & Sullivan Bay, Chinese Hat & Dragon Hill. Tortuga Bay, Lava Pools & Charles Darwin Research Station. Find an example Galapagos and Ecuador example itinerary HERE.

One Step Up - Multi-Day Trekking

  • Peru Luxe Eco Camps Full Salkantay Trek, Macchu Picchu and Cusco - Glamping in 4 camps, 4 full days of trekking with views of Humantay and Salkantay Mountains and hike over the Salkantay Pass (4,664m / 15,300ft). Then visit Macchu Picchu and finish back in Cusco on this 8 day example itinerary.

  • Empakai to Lake Natron Trek in Tanzania- Trekking, Camping and Glamping. We love this 5 Day program that can be included in a longer Tanzania itinerary. 3 days trekking and camping combined with 2 days of activity-based from Lake Natron luxe glamping camp. The trek starts with a night at Empakai Crater in the Ngorongoro highlands and includes a descent down the outer slopes of Empakai with the second night on the edge of the Gregorian rift. Then trek down the rift valley with stunning views and transfer to Lake Natron Camp. Here is the 5 day example itinerary.

  • Mount Kenya - Beginner Hike to Summit - We do operate a beginner’s route to the summit of Mount Kenya which is a hiking and camping trip. We love to partner this with a stay in a private glamping camp in the Masai Mara. Here is a great 10 day example itinerary.

A Challenge - Fitness Training Required but not Technical

Climb Kilimanjaro - choose from a number of different routes and levels of comfort. Adventure International is the leader in ethical, safe and luxury climbs of this Iconic summit. Well paid, well-trained guides, impeccable safety equipment and emergency procedures, excellent food and facilities. We particularly like the Lemosho route as it has a higher success rate of getting to the summit, it's less crowded and more scenic! Here is an 8 day example itinerary.

  • Everest Base Camp with optional add on of Labouche East summit. Iconic and on most climber's bucket list is to experience Everest Base Camp. If your clients want a bit extra they can also add on Labouche East in this 17 day example itinerary. This trip is a good next step after Kilimanjaro. To get to Everest base camp is a strenuous hike but not technical. Climbing Lobuche East afterwards requires crampons and an ice axe. It does require some ropes for safety so this is a good way to start getting used to rope work.

  • Climbing Aconcagua in Argentina is the ultimate non-technical mountaineering adventure. Cerro Aconcagua is normally a good next step after Kilimanjaro and requires the use of crampons and an ice axe so good practice for using these. If you have serious climbers looking for help and support to tackle this climb we can recommend something like this 18 day example itinerary.

  • Mountaineering Training - in various locations around the world including Chamonix in France and Elbrus, Russia we can arrange top class mountaineer tuition and training to help you get ready for your next and greater challenge.

  • Mont Blanc and Monte Rosa. This 11 day itinerary is designed to teach essential mountaineering skills and enrich people with an incredibly high mountain experience in the Alps. Clients will use crampons, an ice axe and ropes for safety, not for technical assent.

  • Mount Elbrus is a dormant volcano in the Caucasus Mountains in Southern Russia and is considered the highest mountain in Europe, one of the Seven Summits and the tenth most prominent peak in the world. Climbing Mt Elbrus is long and strenuous. It is not technically difficult but usually requires crampons. We will start operating this trip in July 2021. Here is a n 11 day example itinerary.

Moderate to advanced Mountaineering Adventures

  • Avenue of the Volcanoes, Ecuador - do all 4 peaks in 16 days or just pick the peaks you want to climb. Here is a full-on 16-day example itinerary to cover Ruco Pichincha (acclimatisation), Cayambe, Cotopaxi and Chimborazo. You can also see a map of the key hotels and locations HERE. Cotopaxi is similar to Aconcagua but much easier in that it requires crampons & ice axe and begins to use some ropes, but only for safety, not technical climbing. Similar to Lobuche East. Cayambe and Chimborazo require a bit more skill with the use of ropes. This trip is a great trip for moderate trekkers to get to the next level in climbing skills.

  • Mountaineering Training - in various locations around the world including Chamonix in France we can arrange top-class mountaineer tuition and training to help you get ready for your next and greater challenge.

  • Mount Kenya Technical Ascent - For advanced climbers, we can offer the technical ascent of Mount Kenya which requires an advanced sense of rock and ice climbing. Here is an 8-day example itinerary for the trek and we can of course add on luxury safaris.
